WHAT IS

INDIANA GROWN?

The Indiana State Department of Agriculture’s Indiana Grown initiative was created to promote products that are grown or made by Hoosiers, for Hoosiers! From fresh food grown from our soil to artisan goods crafted with care, we’re here to help you discover what Indiana has to offer.

Indiana’s diverse agricultural landscape spans nearly 14.6 million acres of farms. More than 53,000 farming operations make Indiana the ninth largest farming state in the nation.

By allowing members to use the Indiana Grown logo on their products, the initiative aims to form a clearer designation of which products truly come from Indiana. Additional the Indiana Grown logo also help Hoosiers easily identify and buy these local products.

WHO ARE

INDIANA GROWN MEMBERS?

Indiana Grown membership is free to qualified businesses and farms that grow, raise, process and/or package products within the state of Indiana. By encouraging our members to use the Indiana Grown logo on their products, the initiative aims to help consumers easily identify these products. Whether you shop at a farmers market, neighborhood market or grocery store, you can find these products by looking for the Indiana Grown logo.

The demand for locally-sourced products is at an all-time high. You may have noticed an increase in restaurants, retail stores and cafeterias proudly showcasing local products. We’re thankful for establishments which help promote local farmers and artisans, and recognize these partners as members of Indiana Grown.
